Raluca-Nicoleta Rogoveanu, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Modern Languages and Communication Science at Ovidius University, Constanța, Romania. Her areas of interest are American literature and culture, diaspora studies and digital humanities.
 
A member of American Studies professional associations in Romania and abroad, Raluca Rogoveanu is an active participant in national and international conferences. She has authored four books and numerous studies, published as book chapters and journal articles.
 
She is a U.S. Department of State International Exchange Alumna (2011), a Senior Fulbright Fellow at the University of California, Los Angeles (2013–2014), and a Balch Fellow of the Historical Society of Pennsylvania (2017). In 2023, she was a Romanian Cultural Institute Fellow at the Cleveland Public Library, Ohio and in 2024 she was  the recipient of the Grant-in-Aid award from The Immigration History Research Center Archives (IHRCA) at the University of Minnesota Libraries Her latest book, entitled Romanian Ethnic Organizations in the United States: Heritage, Legacy, and Identity in the Early 20th Century, is forthcoming from Palgrave Macmillan.
